To avoid duplicate points in Loyalty when Vend Point-of-Sale and Shopify eCommerce are connected we automatically ignore the Shopify orders in Collect.
How It Works
Shopify is usually connected to Vend to keep inventory systems updated across both Point-of-Sale and eCommerce.
Since Loyalty interacts with both platforms, when a Shopify order is made, Loyalty processes the order from Shopify. Vend also creates the order which Loyalty processes. To avoid duplication of points, our system is told to not process Shopify orders.
If your Vend and Shopify systems are not connected you will need to toggle off the processing of Shopify orders.
To Toggle Processing of Shopify Orders
1. Under your My Account page>Account Settings.
2. Go to the Defaults section, toggle Do not process Shopify orders to OFF.
3. Click Save.
