When a customer unlocks a reward, they'll receive a reward voucher via email. Once the reward is claimed by the customer, the unique coupon code is generated as a Product SKU in Vend.
Vend has recently upgraded their plans to include unlimited products. If you are subscribed to an older plan, you may have a product limit and these coupon codes may be exceeding that limit.
How to Turn Off Product SKU Creation
To stop the creation of Products SKUs in your Vend database, email a request to [email protected] so we can turn these off in our backend.
How to Manually Redeem Rewards With Product SKUs Turned Off
Once you have sent your request to us to turn off Product SKUs, you'll need to manually redeem customer vouchers out of Collect Loyalty to remove the discount from the customer's account.
To manually redeem rewards vouchers when a customer brings them in-store:
1. Go to the Manual Redemption page.
2. Type the customer's entire voucher code into the Search Bar.
The reward will appear along with the customer's name.
3. Click Redeem.
The reward will automatically be removed from the customer's account to prevent further use.
How To Manually Apply The Discount To The Sale
Since your customers' coupon codes are no longer generated as Product SKUs in Vend, you will need to manually apply the discount to the sale.
1. Apply the customer to the sale.
2. Click Discount.
3. Choose the correct type of discount between % and $.
4. Type the discount amount into the discount field.
The discount will apply to the sale.
5. Complete the sale as normal.
